PROJECT IN BOLOVIA, SOUTH AMERICA

We are very happy to announce that we could support a community in Cochabamba in Bolivia with 50 rooftop lights this summer!

The project just got done: Everything worked out perfectly and the delighted people made us incredibly happy. Special thanks to Nicolas, Sébastien, Nick and Jérôme for making this happen!
Also, thanks to everybody who supported us- by helping raising funds, coming to our events or sharing or work – everyone can make an impact!!

We can’t wait to light up more homes all over the world!

PROJECT IN WAR THONE PYUE,
MYANMAR

We would like to thank again our representative from Liter of Light Netherlands Ilinca Radu and her fellow students from The Chinese University of Hong Kong for their project Light up Myanmar. They went to a rural village called War Thone Pyue in Myanmar where 67 households with 250 inhabitants live. Collaborating with the Red Cross Society Myanmar, they were able to provide each of the homes with a solar-powered lantern. They not only installed these alternative light sources, but also carried out workshops to teach the local community about how to install the solutions themselves as well.

PROJECT IN POTCHEFSTROOM, SOUTH AFRICA

Liter of Light Netherlands cooperated with Lend a Hand, a dutch NGO from Tilburg, in summer 2016 to light up and to empower the locals of Potchefstroom.

Our partners were given a workshop about how to build the daylights in June in Maastricht & they implemented and passed on their new knowledge to the locals from August 1st until August 10th.

The entire team is very happy about this cooperation and we are all looking forward to great success!
